One Piece Episode 2 : Enter the Great Swordsman! Pirate Hunter Roronoa Zoro!



We start off with Coby and Luffy making their way to a Naval base island (also Luffy has ZERO navigational skills!!) 


They move around in the island looking for Zoro, only to find him crucified. Zoro actually gives of an evil aura. His character design looks awesome!! The shadow on his eyes due to the bandana somehow really appealed to me.



I also liked the little girl's story a lot. She was really cute and when her onigiri got destroyed it really hurt. I also liked when she stood up for Zoro when no one else did.



Captain Morgan's description that titles in this world are everything was intruiging. He wanted to rule with an iron fist but was too irritated when one by one everyone defied him (the making of statue was exaggerated tbh). 


Helmepppo was a real dick. he just uses his father's position to toy with everyone without even giving a real fight. I loved it when Luffy hit him lol. 




Luffy once again proved it why he is the man who will become the Pirate king. He stood up against injustice and even saved the little girl from falling. I really like his Devil fruit powers too.




Coby also proved to be a great guy when he risked himself to untie Zoro. I think he can be an awesome Marine in the future with a great sense of Justice.


The mysterious beauty also made an appearance in the island (I know she is Nami lol) and also infiltrated the Naval base. I wonder why. Hopefully we will know soon.




Zoro was the real MVP of this episode in my opinion. He won me over the moment he gladly ate the dusty onigiri. Now we also know that he really isn't evil, he is a good guy. He also has some kind of backstory due to which he is determined not to die here(Can't wait to know the story soon!!) Hopefully we will get to see him fight soon.



This episode also had some funny parts. Like when the town people got scared, Luffy broke the statue and even abducted Helmeppo, only to use him as a means of escape.




Next Episode : ANOTHER FIGHT!! NAMI GETS PROPER INTRODUCTION!!

One Piece Episode 4 : Luffy's past! Introducing Red-haired Shanks!

A pretty amazing episode if you ask me. The best part was definitely Luffy's flashback.  We see a pirate named Shanks with red hair making a halt at Luffy's village. Luffy's seems to be very fond of them, he even visits the pub together, although mostly people think pirates are bad people. Shanks's group also seems to be very fond of Luffy, although initially they laughed at Luffy's wish to become a pirate. The antagonist of this episode was the group of Mountain Bandits. They as far as spilled beer on Shanks just because they didn't get any beer themselves. Luffy became very angry when neither Shanks nor any other member from his group fought back, though Shanks said that all the Bandit did was just spill some beer. Out of his anger, Luffy ate the Gomu Gomu No Mi, which made him Rubberman and thus never being able to swim again. The next time the Bandits came to the bar and make fun of the pirates, Luffy fought back, which let him being abducted by the bandits....

One Piece Episode 1 : I'm Luffy! The Man Who's Gonna be King of the Pirates! Review

The anime which has been ruling the hearts of millions since the last two decades! This was one of the best introductory episodes I've ever seen in anime! The story starts as we get introduced to the first pirate group, with the captain being the Iron Club Alvida. It was really nice to see a female captain. The character design was interesting, and the jokes on it as well. Luffy's first appearance was really amazing and hilarious. It really left me laughing out loud! His powers were awesome too! The devil fruits and its rarity also got explained a little. Luffy proclaiming that he WILL be the King of Pirates and his spirit of chasing his dream no matter what left a really good impression on me. He is charismatic and free spirited. The concept of a RUBBER MAN is very fascinating to me. It feels like there is so much that can be done with it. Coby's introduction was probably my favourite in this episode.
