Anime Freak Teen Girl

This was another enjoyable episode. I really like the way how Zoro joined the fight, helping his new captain and also declaring to follow his own ambition, i.e. to become the world's best swordsman. Fortunately, Luffy is also happy after knowing Zoro's dream and gladly agrees to allow him achieve his dream. Another good fight sequence. Loved how Zoro holds his third sword in his mouth and even talks lol. Finally both Morgan and Helmeppo were totally defeated and the town was freed.  We got some proper information in this episode : about the Devil fruits and the Grand Line. Luffy is absolutely careless about his present situation as a Captain but still dreams big about having an awesome crew, getting a big ship and obtaining One Piece to become the Pirate King. Nami infiltrated the Naval HQ to get a map to the Grand Line, only to get a declaration that Captain Buggy has already stolen it. The most emotional part of this episode was Luffy 'beating' Coby. We start off with Coby and Luffy making their way to a Naval base island (also Luffy has ZERO navigational skills!!)  They move around in the island looking for Zoro, only to find him crucified. Zoro actually gives of an evil aura. His character design looks awesome!! The shadow on his eyes due to the bandana somehow really appealed to me. I also liked the little girl's story a lot. She was really cute and when her onigiri got destroyed it really hurt. I also liked when she stood up for Zoro when no one else did. Captain Morgan's description that titles in this world are everything was intruiging. He wanted to rule with an iron fist but was too irritated when one by one everyone defied him (the making of statue was exaggerated tbh).  Helmepppo was a real dick. he just uses his father's position to toy with everyone without even giving a real fight. The anime which has been ruling the hearts of millions since the last two decades! This was one of the best introductory episodes I've ever seen in anime! The story starts as we get introduced to the first pirate group, with the captain being the Iron Club Alvida. It was really nice to see a female captain. The character design was interesting, and the jokes on it as well. Luffy's first appearance was really amazing and hilarious. It really left me laughing out loud! His powers were awesome too! The devil fruits and its rarity also got explained a little. Luffy proclaiming that he WILL be the King of Pirates and his spirit of chasing his dream no matter what left a really good impression on me. He is charismatic and free spirited. The concept of a RUBBER MAN is very fascinating to me. It feels like there is so much that can be done with it. Coby's introduction was probably my favourite in this episode.
